So, yesterday, my friend James and I planned a trip up to Richmond. We were planning on going to the Main Art Supply store on West Main. We did not realize that the shop was closed on Sundays.

I've never been to Richmond before, but James goes often, but not often enough to have learned the city yet. Well, our directions to Richmond were wrong, and we ended up coming off the interstate straight onto a road that we had to detour around. We are both horrible with directions, and ended up on Broad street. We got directions to Main, but the guy who gave them to us wasn't completely sure, and when we tried to follow what he said, we ended up in the public housing area. We ended up driving for about an hour, before finally finding East Main. It spit us out onto West Main, and after parking, we ventured around on foot. We got lost again, but some of the places we went to would have made excellent photographs.

All in all, the trip took about Six hours, and we had no art supplies to show for it. But, we know next time not to go on a Sunday.
